Haunted by Memories

by The Flame Within   Mar 28, 2005

My memories, they haunt me still
doing things against my will

"Mom no, leave my brother alone"
i yell and scream as i go for the phone

"You little B******, you keep your mouth shut*
she hits my face, not eve close to my butt

"Run Geno, run don't let her hit you"
he runs off, and she looks at me next, I'm through

"No please mom, no stop, it hurts let go"
again and again across my face, till the blood will show

"Thats what you get, don't you ever get me mad again"
she leaves, but this has not come to an end

i was only 3 maybe 4, i always took the opportunity to walk out the door

"NO, leave them alone, go away"
she went to my sisters room and through everything in her way

"Come here, Come here right now"
all i can hear is them screaming owe

i would hide in my room crying my eyes out, hearing every painful thing, every painful shout
