The night watcher

by Elynnka   Mar 28, 2005

Darkness falls across the path,
Of lost people seeking for what they use to have...
The night overwhelms,
The brightness of these realms
And the silence is disturbed,
By sounds you've never heard.
A mysterious bird with its song full of grace,
Wipes the tears off our jaded face,
A sparkling star in the sky,
Shines for the ones who are wishing to die...

The night is a shelter
For the young and the elder,
For the ones who are left alone,
The ones abandoned without a home...

Silent drops of rain
Washing all the hate, the pain
Pour down on this empty mind
Of a lost child who is left behind...
This beautiful night
Instills a reason to fight
For the ones who want to live,
The ones who have so much love to give.
Reflections of the past, reappear
As the night starts to disappear...

The night is gone and I am too
For I reveal the lies, the true
Nature of careless people who don't even try
To understand, for the night watcher is I...

***I'm not sure I've put it in the right place***
