You're the only teacher I have ever trusted
You're the first teacher that I ever told I was gay
Without you I would have never had the courage to try and start the GSA
Without your support I would have walked away
From the idea
Your class is so much fun I look forward to it everyday
Sometimes I just wish I could stay
This probably all sounds so crazy for me to look up to you
The way I do
But you are just so cool and so nice
And I know I can always run to you for advice
Which I never thought I would be able to do with a teacher I thought that they would all be mean and that they would never care about the students
All the horror stories I heard about high school were so untrue
I think I may have actually made it through this crazy and hectic year because of you
So thanks for being such a cool teacher and giving me someone I can run to!
