My Mood

So hard to concentrate,
I can’t stay focused.
My mind is wandering.
Why can’t I stop?

I hate it when this happens,
I can never think positively.
I mean what is positive in my life?

I take that back, I do have
Positive aspects in my life.
For example, I have my physical
Health (though mentally, I’m insane).
I have my supportive parents.
There are my friends (thought they are
few in number they are strong in spirit).
I have my faith, and everything
Associated with it.
Then last but not least,
I have Jehovah.

These aren’t things I think about,
When I get in moods, like this one.
I think of death, and all of the
Bad things that have happened.

Then I say/do something stupid.
I make someone mad at me.
The day is ruined, I pout
And mope all day…I dream
About it at night.
I will wake tomorrow,
Still remembering today,
And be in this same horrible mood.

I just need to get it all out,
Because if I don’t I think,
I would positively explode.

I will be okay,
I know this to be true.
I will live,
I’ll make it through each day.
