A little step

For the first time in a while. I have actually smiled and (honestly) felt good, after one of our conversations. We talked for only a few minutes, but what was said was special. Something that hadn’t been said in quite a while. We aren’t completely back to our old selves, but this little step has helped. We have a few steps left like: talking, apologies, and last but not least forgiveness. Hopefully the wonderful friendship we once had will be restored!
