Today in school

by Timothy   Mar 29, 2005

Today in school I thought I was cool
I came to a realization; I was a fool
My liberty is much less considerably
part of my misery-stricken history
Today in school I saw some faces
I read some pages, and ventured to some unfamiliar places.
It was normally erratic like any day
and it's in the past now anyways
I'm past the events this day held
I lost my grip, I broke my weld
My foot-notes and hopes
all seem at a loss
Where did the day go,
and at what cost?
Today in school I met a new person
It was myself, only a newer version.
I never saw his eerie look before
No sooner than I noticed,
he turned and walked out the door.
