Breaking old habits
is harder than it looks
trying to focus
actually reading school books

hanging with the right crowd
staying away from the wrong
early nights and mournings
make days seem oh so long

listening to what teachers have to say
walking home starring at the sky so blue
trying not to think of my addictions
thats the past, its gone, I'm through

taking control
focusing on life
i have a future
one with no more strife

habits are so damn hard to break
so hard I'm starting to shake and shake
stop all these thoughts in my head
i promised myself the last tear i cried would be the last tear i shed
