I Move Without A Care

My time is but not long too far
I feel as though my body is numb
Terrified of what lies ahead
Fearing to soon succumb

Signs are all around me
Ignorance fills the air
Dreams of death surround me
I move without a care

My mind knows something is near
But my heart won’t admit
It too is scared of my premonition
And my body doesn’t want to commit

Maybe I’m wrong
But there’s a chance I’m right
A chance that what I predict
Could very well happen, as soon as tonight

I’ve lived a tough life
And I blame myself for making it so rough
I guess I’m getting what I deserve
And God has had enough

I believe it is best
To move on and keep going
Instead of constantly panicking
And letting my worries keep growing

So you can say what you may
And disagree at the most
But keep your thoughts and views to two people
Yourself… and my ghost
