Story of your life

by Timothy   Apr 1, 2005

One of the first expressively written poem i ever designed. age - 13
not to good, but enough to receive recognition i would hope. rate accordingly please. thank you

I sit beside the fire,
watching time expire,
as I did in days of old,
waiting as my story unfolds.
The lifelong dreams,
endless, as friendship seems,
powerful enough to be controlled,
sensitive and warm, a need to hold.
Children's tales, and adults lies,
the story is told before your eyes,
full of conflict, and bitter strife,
this story is only one thing; your life.
