Circles

by Toni   Apr 2, 2005

- Confused...

You’re travelling so fast
The world goes spinning by
Memories of summer nights
Events that made you cry

The thoughts are but a blur
A fragment of your mind
Far too broken to be arranged
And swiftly left behind

Everything keeps spinning
Circles spin out wide
Before closing back upon your life
With one more tearful ride

Just one more tearful ride
Travelling through the night
Crimson pillows and tear-stained words
Dampen out the light

But soon it comes to pass
The end creeps back inside
Bringing blinding light so strong
You need to run and hide

The stagnant death aroma
Spirals from words spoken
The pillar of your tangled strength
Is slowly burnt and broken

Its just another circle…
A pivotal longing tear
Rolling down a chalk-white cheek
Bringing back the fear

Awww Toni the imagery is flawless. I'm in total awe. You have such a talent for manipulating words.

I hope everything's okay though, It's quite a worrying poem. I'm sorry for earlier and not really speaking properly.

Take good care of yourself munchkin.
    All my love,
    Laura.
