A perfect pair

by Lushed   Apr 3, 2005

Your eyes,
they match your mothers.
They're proof it's just you two.
A love to last forever,
the deepest bond she holds for you.

You'll never know,
All that she'd do for you,
Or how much she cares.
For those baby eyes that match her own,
Are such a perfect pair.

Now your mothers closes,
her soft blue eyes.
She must close the whole world out.
All she can think to do is hide.
For who could bear to handle,
Their only child's demise.

She cannot say goodbye,
she will not let you go.
Your life had only just begun!
Now the perfect pair she once possessed,
has been reduced to one.
