My life of sin...

by Sarah-Louise   Apr 6, 2005

I've given up,
At giving in,
I'm now stuck with,
A life of sin.
I can't move on,
I won't go back,
I'm stuck, alone,
Been thrown off track.
I cannot smell,
Nor taste nor touch,
I cannot hear,
And have seen too much.
My once blue eyes,
Have now turned grey,
I am too weak,
I no longer pray.
All my friends,
Have left my side,
Pointless life,
Non-existent pride.
I sit at night,
All by myself,
There's no one left,
To ask for help.
Once you left,
Everything changed,
My smile weakened,
Life rearranged.
I can't forget,
Who I once was,
Ask why I changed,
Simply 'because'.
I'll try and smile,
Flip this frown,
But it's hard when,
Life's up-side-down.
I won't give up,
I won't give in,
I'll stick with,
My life of sin.
