Know me

by Harlequin[let me put you to sleep]   Apr 6, 2005

Many voices within
Crying out to be heard
Don’t leave me again
Until you’ve given me your word

Make sure that you listen
To the things I never said
To know that I am missin
The life I never led

Give me your ear
While I lean your way
Tell me you hear
The things I just can’t say

Give to me this day
Your blessing of hope and love
Tell me you know the way
To seek heaven above

And while I wander home
In the recess of my mind
I will never be alone
Never left behind

Tell me you know me
The words I know I said
Let me know you see
Beyond this place of dead

In the desert I wander
Give me water and bread
For there is a hill up yonder
I must reach instead

And when I hear that child
Crying in my head
I will know by your smile
Every word left unsaid.
