I turn the radio on
To hear that sad song
The one we used to love
It’s been so long

Everything is a reminder
Of how it used to be
I want to make it stop
This picture perfect memory

I seem to fall apart
I can’t forget the past
It’s to hard to look ahead
And it kills to look back

We used to be happy
We used to smile
But somehow it changed
Happy only lasts for a while

I used to actually think
Life was not so bad
That stars and flowers were beautiful
And love was all we had

But I ended up here
And somehow I survived
I learned love does not make the world go round
Or else I would not be alive

Tears still streak my face
And I’m still not alright
Nothing seems okay
When your living this life

Your photographs say it all
Your words and voice drown me
I’m still living with you
This is not how it was supposed to be
