Drowning wings

by Robiie   Apr 9, 2005

Kiss me once,
So sweetly just kiss me so I can remember you before my wings fail me to my death,
So I will take my last breathe of life thinking of you,
So now I begin to fall down with my wings open,
Past the rushing waters that flow around my body,
So now I will lay in the sand with the dilapidated wreckage of lost life and hope...
Your love made me fall here,
It gave me wings to fly,
But those wings failed me when I needed them the most...
I was blind to all your bullshit,
I thought you were different to all the other guys,
You were special,
You were also spacial to a girl in a tiny skirt and tight top,
If thats what you were after why were you here with me?
My black top and ripped jeans...
The wings you once gave me were purely white and flew me to the greatest heights,
But now they have turned as black as my heart to you now, and have holes where trust used to lie,
So they failed me when I tryed to fly,
And now I lay kissing the bottom of the ocean with my heart,
Water filling my lungs...
My wings fall away from me and float to the surface,
Where you now stand unable to recognize that they were once mine...
