Betrayal of the Pen

by Eibutsina   Apr 11, 2005

Silence, but words
Truthful, but stories
In black and white
Only with sight
Can they be heard.

People who don’t speak
Speak volumes of words
Words of many pens
Edited pens
It never ends.

Out of mind
Out of context
It simply reflects
Their own defect
A complex. Insanity.

To write without truth
Merely assumption
No dignity, nor remorse
The ultimate betrayal
Betrayal of the pen.

**This piece is written about the media and a story I read in a newspaper about the recent death of a friend, lies complete lies and stretching of the truth for a good story**
