I'm going home

by Jenny Sys   Apr 13, 2005

For some reason I am happy,
I have my life back,
Into my own hands now,
So now I must pack.

I'm leaving the life,
Which was so dark and grim,
I'm leaving the life,
That I felt stuck within.

A sigh of relief when it happened,
Now I just wanna move fast,
I wanna forget the pain and torture,
And forget about the past.

I can't stop smiling,
Because everything's great,
What once was terrible,
Now we forget the hate.

As time moved on,
I thought I was trapped forever,
Not knowing what to do,
My family not together.

But now I'm coming home,
My room better be tidy,
I want you to see,
You no longer must hide me.

I'm coming back home,
To happiness and joy,
I won't do wrong anymore,
I promise this isn't a ploy.

I got an early birthday present,
I got my family back,
I don't have to stay here anymore,
I'm going to start to pack.
