Hey Girl

by Jolie   Apr 13, 2005

Hey Girl,
I stand here, by your coffin, I wish I was there for you to solve your problems. My eyes were blind to the pain you had, I never knew those things could come from your dad. I never knew about your fathers habit, I never knew he lashed out at you and you had to have it. I'm sorry for all of the fights we've been in, but we pulled through but this fight you didn't win. I should've paid attention to the scars on your wrists, I should've watched when your father came in and how you would flinch. I should've seen the pain past your brown eyes, I wish it wasn't you who had to die. But then again I wouldn't want anyone else to experience the pain that I'm in, but at least I know that with every lost life, a new one begins. I never wanted to let you slip from my hands like god did, cause you were my angel on earth, and now I pray for reincarnation...for your rebirth. I will always love you each and every day. Oops, I almost forgot...Happy 14th Birthday.
