A New Lie

Lace my heart with death
Till I can’t take it anymore
Lie with every breath
I couldn't distinguish them before

Break my foolish heart
You know you want to
Till it’s torn apart
And I can’t recognize you

Piece it back together
Lie to me some more
Make a million promises
Like the ones not kept before

Tell me charming lies
And give me sweet promises
Watch my silent cries
Built up until they spill

Lift up all my expectations
You know each ones fake
I just can’t get away
It’s more than I can take

Give me back myself
The traumatized pieces too
You can’t control me now
I don’t belong to you
