Sunshine and Laughter

Sunshine and laughter
Thats how life used to be
Now its dark and really cold
I'd tell you more if I were bold

There was innocence and charm
Thats been driven away
So I'm left with myself
Its just another day

Nothing seems to look up
You swore to catch me if I fell
When I did you weren't there
So I landed in this permanent hell

Pain and suffering surround me
I can't sleep anymore
I wish these voices would leave
They shake me to my core

    I like this poem a lot. It has a great deal of emotion and the rhyming is pretty smooth throughout the poem.

    "You swore to catch me if I fell
    When I did you weren't there
    So I landed in a permanent hell"

    I really loved these lines and relate to them a lot. The only thing about this poem is it feels like it still needs an ending, a so what to finish it off, but besides that, it is quite good.
