85 miles an hour

by Amy Jo   Apr 15, 2005

Ashes flying in the air
It started with a game of truth or dare.
Now his soul flies free
Above the open sea

85 miles an hour
The steering wheel at his power
Metal on metal all around
Screeching and screaming is the only sound

His spirit free within
A game ended in sin
Speeding at the speed of light
Now his soul will take it's flight

85 miles an hour
The steering wheel at his power
Metal on metal all around
Screeching and sreaming is the only sound

People clothed in black
Tears of silence
Common sense is all he lacked (Bridge for a song)
His life ended in violence

85 miles an hour
The steering wheel at his power
People staring at the ground
Because they lost what he found
