My Best Friends

Three girls
One guy
That’s our group
our clique

We are all so tight
We tell each other everything
Even when we fight
We laugh

We have seen each other cry
We have all been there
Together
Hopefully forever

If this friendship does not last
I do not know what will
It is so strong
Built so sturdy

Ugly rumors
Dirty lies
They just bring us closer
We are made of one

When one of us is sad
We all feel their pain
When one of us is happy
We all feel the same

When there is something wrong
One of us sees it
And we work through it
That’s what best friends do

We tell each other the truth
Because we know that if we lied
It would only hurt someone else
We confide in each other and share secrets

Of our past
Our dreams for the future
What we want to forget
And those we will never
No matter what get out of our minds

We share with each other
Our feelings
Of those around us
And on just about anything

I know I can come to any of these people
And if I ask something
They will be the ones most likely to tell the truth
No lies

These people are the ones
who have put that light
back in my eyes
And I don to want it to ever go out

When I have a problem
They are there to comfort me
And tell me everything is going to be okay
And when its not
They help me figure out what to do

These people are the people I have been looking for all my life
And now that I have found them
I do not want to ever let them go.

I will try my best to be
To be that best friend
That they all deserve
I will be here

Always and forever
You can come to me
No matter what
Even if you think it’s stupid,
I will take you seriously

I will never lie
I will always be honest
I will be waiting for you
To come to me and tell me what’s on your mind
