Together in Death

by Ð맆îñ¥   Apr 16, 2005

Rolling back the clouds
And the deep black shrouds
I feel a merry jig approaching
And I am encroaching

My mourning set aside
Looking into azure eyes
The black outfit bold
Death can wait I am told

The splash of paint erupts on me
Covered all over and can no longer see
But has found my hidden heart
Deprived when we depart

You hand is welcoming, a steady release
A friendship is formed but pinned to my crease
Of the love I sought and yet death has brought it
Your eyes are throwing me down a familiar pit

Loss and losing is so hard to bare
And yet it is now I find that you care
Love me forever for I’ll need you there
For finally in death there is something we’ll share
