Sunsets of Life

by Mollie   Apr 19, 2005

As the wind blows across
sun-kissed fields of heat
Dancing in and out of its grasses
the trees swaying to the beat,

The sun sets behind the hill
and the moon shows its faint face
time ponders through the hours
until they've gone without a trace,

Another day lays down its head
as the night slowly falls
yet I know with this day passing
I'll not regret anything at all,

Because when that time comes
when I see my last sunset
I'll look back on this sunrise of life
and relive this very moment.
