I Will

I will never turn my back on my friend.
I will be a romantic ‘til the bitter end.
I will never let our friendship be sold.
I will always be there to kiss and console
I will never allow her to face it alone.
I will always speak in the gentlest of tones.
I will never push her out of my sight.
I will always keep her smiling bright.
I will never, ever disappoint my friend.
I will love my sweetheart ‘til forever ends.

    "I will always speck in the gentlest of tones"
    I think you meant speak instead of speck!
