(I don't know what came over me when I wrote this, I haven't broken up with my boyfriend, but i realized that i described him perfectly when i read over this again.)

I’m wondering why,
You abandoned me in the first place.
You left me here to die,
But I can’t forget your face.
Your eyes, the brightest,
Puncture sharply through your stare.
Shades of blue and green, the lightest;
Accenting all your dark brown hair.
You kissed me with your crimson lips,
I never will forget,
How you touched me with your fingertips,
I still do not regret.
You held me as we danced so close,
To a haunting melody…
Millions of colors seemed to flow,
But only our eyes could see.
You took away, my every fear,
All the teardrops dried away.
But now I realize you’re not here,
And it seems they’re back to stay.
Eternity meant forever,
When we vowed it to our hearts.
But our bonds have all been severed,
We were damaged from the start.
