I tell you a tale
about a girl in her struggles
and how she tried but failed.

She tried to make him notice her

she began to ponder

So 1 day she stepped onto the ledge
opened her arms ready to fly
until she was caught
caught by some guy.

He told her he loved her
he told her he was real
he showed her the feelings
she was yearning to feel.

He kept her by his side
he held her by her hand
he told her he'd never leave her
and would always be her man.

He gave her all the things she yearned for
gave her all the things she needed
he mend her heart
every time it bleeded.

He'd kiss her tears away
shield her heart from the rain
he make her stop everything
he scared away her pain.

They were each others one and only
the love of their lives"
but that stopped until the day
the day he said good-bye.

now again she ponders
"why she's still alive?"
Why does she have to live
with all this pain inside?"

So now as she steps onto the ledge
she opens her arms to fly
hoping someone would catch her
hoping it be that guy.....
