A girls "husband"

A girl sits on her bed
she's all depressed
she looks at herself in the mirror with dred
she mumbles to herself "look what i've become"

why am I here she wonders
what is the point in me being here
she looks down at her "bestfriend"
the knife shes used so many times

it looks at her
she looks at it
she would swear it talks to her
it whispers for her to pick it up it would make her feel better

everytime she falls for it
she picks it up
and sure enough
it makes her feel better

it glides across her wrist with ease
making one straight line
then the blood comes
with every drop of blood the pain eases

shes been like this for weeks now
all because of him
its all his damn fault shes this way
he ripped her heart out

he said he loved her and they would always be
and she fell for it you see
because she loved him to death
and then he decided she wasnt who he was suppose to end up with

what a dic
he broke her dam heart
because he thinks he is suppose to be with his ex
what a dam dic

but as time goes on her depression gets deeper
her "bestfriend" has became her "boyfriend"
he goes with her everywhere

but all she can do is get worse
a month later her "boyfriend" becomes her "husband"
and you'd see her walking around
mumbling to herself

she would always wear long sleeves
everyone knew why
then came that dreadful night
her "husband" cut her to deep

he hit a vein
completely erasing her pain
everyone knew that day would come
but nobody knew how it would be done

it took him 3 tries to hit her vein
even the doctors would say
she wanted it to end this way
i just wonder why she didnt try to move on and stay
