Why

by unbelievable life   Oct 24, 2005

You can see the hurt in her
Blood red eyes
Hear the pain in
Her shaky voice
Yet you take no notice
Even though you know
You've done this to her
You say to her
"oh you'll find someone better"
"I don't want to hold you down"
So, instead you ask out her
Best friend
Then the night comes
You guys fill her in
Ask her if she cares
If you two go out
She tries not to hurt
Tries to ignore the pain
Avoids screaming I love you, to him
So, instead she yells I don't care
I give up it doesn't matter,
Nothing does
You know what I don't give a shit
I don't care if I live or die
My life sucks
No pint in making it
Still on the phone with both of them
She plays We Belong Together
and their old song
He doesn't take no notice
Her own best friend
She loves her to death, won't hate her ever
Has caused her pain
Her best friend calls 1 on 1
She makes her friend cry
But yet tells her she's happy for them
Even though she loves him
And still likes him
That night all she can do is cry
Yet she doesn't really know why
Why does she love him
Why does she cry
Why is she so mad
Why does he do this
Why was it for a year all he said was I love you and always will
Why is she so jealous, when she loves another
Why does it matter
Why
The question echos in her mind
All these unanswered whys
