Just like you

by cant sleep   Apr 24, 2005

When all has failed,
When all hope is lost,
I thought you’d be there
No matter the cost.

But you left me here.
You left me up cold.
You left me alone,
With no hand to hold.

You said you’d remain here.
Right by my side.
You also said
In you, I could confide.

But now I know the truth,
The truth about your lies.
The mask that you wore,
Was just a disguise.

Maybe I was blind.
I was too stubborn to see.
How you loved her,
A little more than me.

Now I’ll just move on,
I’ll just find someone new.
Someone that will end up hurting me.
Someone just like you.

This one is good, but is it about Bobby? You are too good for him. Honestly.

Nice conclusion, though it sucks that it is probably a true story.
