My bestfriend, My lover

by *liZ*   Apr 25, 2005

Wonderful Man, bringing me ease, won my heart over on bended knee.

You broke through the barrier, in my heart was a wall, now we just watch it as the peices fall.

My eyes before, always filled with tears, until you came in taking away all my fears.

You listen to me, as I cry out loud, and take away all my stormy clouds.

At my weakest point you still came through, and I'll never regret falling inlove with you.

A kiss can tell a thousand things, and yours told me what love you would bring.

Scared of relationships I was before you, but you helped me see how love can be true.

You wiped the tears from my broken eyes, and took away the hope of wanting to die.

You hold my heart, and will until the end, how thankful I am I married my bestfriend.

awww... this one is so sweet. good poem. i think what you lack in meter and rhythm (which are usually a big deal to me), you make up for in emotional control... you have a lot of power in your words. keep writing more like this.
