I'm sorry for crying

by sarah   Apr 27, 2005

They say that they’re sorry,
They say I’m so strong,
They think they’re right,
But they’re really so wrong.

You see,
I lay awake at night,
And I sit and I cry,
For each tear down my face,
There is a wish to die.

But I keep going,
With a fake smile,
I keep going,
Though it only lasts a while.

But when the smile turns to a frown,
I know someone’s there,
When I feel down.

I know that they’re there,
I know that they care,
But when tears of darkness drip down my face,
My heart seems to lower it’s pace.

And I know you don’t want those tears,
But I can’t help it,
Each one is a fear.
So I’m sorry for crying,
But inside I’m dying.

**this one is for my daddy that passed away early last year. WE LOVE YOU DADDY!!!**
