Betrayal

by Harlequin[let me put you to sleep]   Apr 28, 2005

Tears from the sun rain down on me
The warmth turns cold as it drips
Just like my blood draining down my arm
The blade cutting me open, as my skin rips
Holding the knife tighter as I cut
Deeper and deeper, more blood spills
The pain numbing, a sign of relief
The chair I once sat in, with blood it fills
Laying on the floor now, to weak to stand
Cutting deeper, my blood is now my bed
Staining this brand new carpet
A spot consumed in crimson red
Thinking fondly of my memories
This must be my life flashing before my eyes
Thinking now I wish I hadn’t done this
Screaming for help, but no one can hear my cries
Tears grown cold and worn
Thinking why I did it, why?
Beholding my tourniquet above my wrist
Where nothing can save me so I cry
Feeling colder as time slips by me
Movement I cannot do
As holding on to life is now unspeakable
This is my end; I know its true
Keeping me satisfied in a twisted way
As death consumed me on this moment see
Darkness is no longer what I am
Dead, is how I am, and forever will be
