Sanctuary

The last to fall
evils final gate
an invisible wall
where some come late

no need for fear
no peril will show
no enemy too near
no face of foe

yet here i lay
cowering in death
and this i pray
it wasn't those, i loved best!

sometimes your sanctuary can be your enemy
and thats when it hurts the most!

    I loved the Title ,its really unique and attractive! and lead me to the end to read about this poem! well i always believe that our Sanctury is our enemy!
    coz this place always drags us back to em!!! so its surely an enemy! Right?
