The Right Words

I thought about all the things I could say

And struggled with the right words to fill this page

I reflected on the things that you and I have been through

All the ways you make me feel and the right way to tell you

I could tell you about the positive ways you've changed my life

And how so very proud I am to be your wife

I wanted to be sure to remind you of how special you are

And how happy I am that we've come so far

I thought about all the times you stood by my side

And each moment you believed in me without asking why

I remembered so many times you encouraged me to chase my dreams

And when I couldn't quite catch them...you still believed

I wanted to express in words how you make me feel

And to say thank you for making this love so real

I thought I'd sum up these feelings with one simple phrase...

The best way to express how I feel is to say I love you now and always
