Why do I feel safe looking into your eyes?

When all my feelings of fear so easily subside

It's the mystery in those eyes, their ability to pierce my soul

When you look at me your not just seeing, but the truth is told

It's easy to feel safe when your eyes speak no lies

Your there to protect me from the world thru everyone else's eyes.

My eyes don't spare any truth and reflect all my shame

But that is why you save me with your eyes and take all my pain

I will never turn away from the innocence your eyes hold

And swim in the pools of your soul thru your eyes and all they behold.
