Eros

by Gerard Kurt   May 2, 2005

The setting sun smeared blood on high.
In crimson red, the sky there lie.
People gazed in awe
Upon the sight they saw.
In admiration they all stared
And in the air their praise are heared.
It's like Eros sprinkled love below
And passion did this god bestow.
No heart now left astray,
Though love maybe delayed.
Now all is calm like evening stars.
But deep inside burned all desires.
The loveless hopes the dawn will bring
Their summer, winter, fall and spring.
