For My God

by Gerard Kurt   Apr 24, 2005

In nothingness, You existed.
In the abyss, Your spirit soared.
From naught You have created
The universe You adored.

Oh mighty loving Creater,
Thy works are pure and perfect.
In You is glory and honor,
The universe's greatest architect.

From dust You molded us,
In Thy own image and beauty.
The earth You gave and thus,
You showered it with bounty.

How can I thank Thee?
Oh wisest and mightiest king.
I thank You for creating me.
Your praises I will sing.

My god you are most powerful.
Unsurpassable im might and glory.
Yet Thou are most merciful,
Oh triumphant God of all.
