Faerie Land

by «-Pale-Petals-»   May 2, 2005

Desirable is the Faerie Land,
But an eerie story to be told,
Of creatures and immortality,
Where evil does unfold.

Balls of iridescent light,
Dance upon the air,
Whispers and chants,
Reel you into their lairs,

The faeries wings leave,
Scattered luminescent rainbows behind,
Painting pictures unimaginative,
To any mortals mind,

The evil does hide,
And is horrible to the sight,
Lurks in the dark depths,
Away from the light,

Ride the wings of pestilence,
To the land that never sleeps,
Of which evil is of abundance,
And forever does creep.
Venture to the Faerie Land with me... if you dare.
