IronShore

by «-Pale-Petals-»   May 6, 2006

You don\'t need lips,
because your eyes do the talking,
those intricate pupils repeat it all.
The resounding truth that i am oh so weary of.
Sending my stomach upsidedown.

i wake up, the sunlight changes.
And we slowly walk on seperate lines.
Seperate lives, seperate universes.
Sometimes though, i think about the place we were.
And wonder what it might feel like, to ever go back there.

Then i come across your eyes, and read what they say.
Black and white,
plain and simple.
they tell me, that place is grey and burried.

So I take a walk, down by the water.
Swirl my toes in the sand.
Take a deep breath, let you wash out to sea.
And watch the waves as they crash against the ironshore.
