My first poem

Behind blue eyes
A sad girl cries
Shaded from the world
Sick of all the lies

Her head is dizzy
And her wrists are numb
She doesn’t know who she is
or who she has become

Images racing through her mind
As she sits on the floor and dies
Wishing to be fulfilled inside
Totally haunted from all the lies

Her mother’s kitchen knife
Her only friend
is lying uselessly
in her cold open hand

Now her eyes will never open
Because she’s too far asleep
Dreaming of how once again
a pain that went too deep.
