Consequence

by Harlequin[let me put you to sleep]   May 4, 2005

Bewildered, confused, dazed
Hopeful, buoyant, snap me out of it, make me faze
Dreaming of a world where I could be
Thinking of a place where I should see

Dense, stupid, dull
At my essence they begin to pull
Down, farther to their burning soil
Let down my hopes as I begin to coil

Feeling so bound, trapped
In my mind their pressure snapped
As they ripped out my core
I guess this is the consequence I get for being a thief, a liar, and a hore
