The truth is:

You are part of my nightmare,
The one i repeat every night,
Like a record stuck on 'i'm sorry',
Like "i love you" after a fight.

You are just one of the reasons,
Why my heart is about to break,
I can't take your cynical jokes,
Like the cheating that was a "mistake".

You were never a good listener,
Only when i cried you would see,
That your "Beautiful princess",
Was just what you'd dreamed me to be.

You were just another preacher,
A silent alcoholic yourself,
Don't forget those bleeding cuts,
That you insisted would "help".

You left me here, wingless,
Like a feather lost in the breeze,
"Sorry, but this time I'm leaving",
Like i had some sort of disease.

You selfish, unworthy runaway,
You're nothing more than a dream,
A smudge upon a burning sheet,
Like a doll without its seams.
