Your days are going well
Your life is finally right
As far as you can tell
There's no nightmares at night

Anything makes you laugh

But...

Then you let down your guard
And things start to get worse
You fall, and you hit hard
And then comes all the hurt
And now you get confused
Cuz everything had been so good

I've learned that when this happens
It's because you have lost sight
Of the things that make you happy
Or the things that are right
So try to do the right thing
