Pain and sorrow,
wishing i didn't have to live to see tomorrow.
I've been hurt twice before,
why doesn't he understand my heart is still sore?
He says its the games i play,
I wish i were dead as i lay,
but I'm still here in misery and dismay.
just put me out of my darkness,
so i can embrace your loving grace
with whole-hearted happiness.
As i still lay here dying in my mind,
i think of you and how i left our relationship behind.
I know i am selfish, i am unkind,
but don't see through me,
look deep inside.
just maybe you'll find the feelings i hide.
