So Many Questions

by Lindsey Paige   Dec 13, 2004

I want to follow the light,
but it never turns out right.
I want to do well in school,
but I always end up looking like a fool.

Why won't God just stop closing all the doors,
and opening all the windows?
I want to choose,
but there's no doubt I will lose.

Why can't they just accept me for who I am?
I am not a sheep or a lamb.
I always get in trouble for my words or tone,
but why don't they understand I am my own?

They didn't raise me,
no one did.
Only faith and hope brought me glee,
when I was just a little kid.
