Fallen Angel

by Katie   May 8, 2005

Just to let everyone know, I didn't write this, one of my friends did, and it is really beautiful.

Sleep calms the storm;burning deep within
Dawn wakes the angel, and now it begins.

Drugs blur the days into one
Nothing is true and there's nowhere to run.

Happy Anniversary, again he's forgot
Her razor leaves marks that her pain cannot.

She watches him from a distance, he loves someone new.
The world comes to a stop, her heart is now through.

Suicide ravages her mind, no one is real.
Now alone for so long she forgot how to feel.

So cold since he left, now fire takes his place.
Now broken and alone, the angels fallen from grace.

Her wings are made of fire, her tears are full of hate
The trigger is pulled and not its too late.

She's burning alive, then is surrounded by rain
The tears of those left, extinguish the flames.

Oh now they cry, and now they care
The funeral's black and he isn't there.

To keep up appearance, he send a single rose
He sheds a single tear and now they'll never know

Of the fire he started, or the lies he spoke
Of the fallen angel, or the heart he broke.
