Remembering the Columbine Massacre

by Sammy   May 9, 2005

SO many innocent lives taken that day.
So many souls floating away.
SO many guns fired at will.

The sad thing is that they intended to kill.
To wipe out the school off the map
In their long black coats and army boots
what they were doing never computes.
never computes in their lost minds

Teens an Teachers hiding for thier lives.
This was no joke, it was no lie.
Their lives ended right then an there.
But the killers never cared.

They only wanted to destroy Columbine High
then commit suicide.
They spent 1 year planning this day
while people sat there and prayed

prayed for their lives,
as they cried.
the murderers took pity on no one
shot after shot, as people dropped one by one.

Dylan and Eric so misunderstood
the 13 people that once stood
now lay in the ground
no longer making a sound

Dylan and Eric planned to kill more
but their bombs failed
so they took matters in their hands

Columbine Massacre,
no one wants to remember
they want to sweep it under the rug
some one brings it up and people just shrug.

Columbine Massacre
memories will always stay
of that one fatal day
