The Trap

The feeling of hopelessness
the feeling of being trapped
trapped inside your own problems
stuck in the middle
with no way out

surrounded by darkness
by black
drowning in your own tears
guilt and worthlessness
building up inside
thoughts going 120 miles per hour
inside your head

so many people don\'tknow
about this trap
they think you got yourself in this
so you can get yourself out

what do they know?
depression is hell
once your in, its so hard to find your way out
so hard to find your ground

i once fell victim to depressions mouse trap.
but i found my way out
even though it doesn't seem
like theres hope
there is..
its hard to find your way out
but eventually
you\'ll find your ground
you\'ll find your smile
and soon, those tears will go away
and things will go forward
and that feeling of being stuck
will slowly melt away
