The Pain in Those Eyes

by Kristen   May 11, 2005

Not many take the time
Too take a closer look
To unfold who this person is
To read them like a book

It can take a glance sometimes
But I think most deserve more
I like to look deeper then that
Look all the way into the hearts core…

No one even gave her that glance
She was a no one to all
I guess that’s why everyone felt bad when they learned she died
They didn’t know who catch when they fall

If only someone had taken that glance
Tried to say hi
Maybe her mother might have gotten to hear
One last “I love, but goodbye…”

No one got the chance
To look into her life
She was so sad and miserable
She saw no reason for this much strife

They were pretty and dark brown
But there were much pain in those eyes
But now you will never know…
You cannot see or hear the dead girl’s cries…
